Packing for Bali? Here's What We Take

You've booked the flights, planned the holiday and started the countdown.

Now comes the fun part – packing.

After helping women choose swimwear and resortwear for over 35 years, we've learnt that the best holidays start with packing light and packing smart. Choose versatile pieces that mix and match, dry quickly and take you from the beach to lunch and into dinner.

Lightweight Clothing is Your Best Friend

For Bali, Fiji, Thailand, cruising or anywhere warm, lightweight clothing is essential.

Our beautiful Lula Life Collection and Lula Soul Collection are perfect for travel. Made from soft 100% rayon viscose, these colourful boho-inspired styles include shirts, shorts, tops, pants and maxi dresses that weigh very little and hardly take up any room in your suitcase.

These easy-care pieces can be hand washed overnight and are ideal for travelling light.

Swimwear Essentials

For a week's holiday we recommend packing:

✔ One Bikini
✔ One One Piece Swimsuit
✔ One Tankini

A tankini is one of the most versatile items you can travel with. Wear it for swimming during the day and pair it with shorts or a sarong for lunch, shopping or sightseeing.

The Most Versatile Item In Your Suitcase

• A beach cover-up
• A lightweight shawl
• Extra sun protection

Best of all, they weigh next to nothing.

Travel Smart

Don't forget:

✈ Passport and travel documents
✈ Travel insurance details
✈ Cash and cards
✈ Power bank
✈ Chargers and adaptors
✈ Prescription medications

A lightweight rain jacket or poncho is also worth packing if travelling during the wet season.

One lesson I learnt the hard way in Bali—never pack your power bank in checked luggage. Airport security removed mine before departure. Always carry power banks in your hand luggage.

A Few Final Tips

Leave a little space in your suitcase.

A lighter bag means easier travel and leaves room for those holiday purchases and treasured souvenirs.

If you're travelling overseas, consider using a travel card such as Wise and let your bank know your travel dates before you leave. It can save a lot of headaches later.

Most importantly, enjoy the experience.

After all, the best memories are made exploring new places, relaxing by the water and spending time with the people you love.

🌴 Have a wonderful holiday from all of us at Oz Resort.
